DAVENPORT, Iowa — A small business in Davenport that combines beer and good food with recreational sports has announced it will be closing at the end of November.

Ruby's Beers, Bikes, Brats, located along East 3rd Street in downtown, announced via Facebook that it will shut its doors on Friday, Nov. 29. The post did not provide A reason for the closure. News 8 has reached out for additional information.

The bar and grill serves up craft beer, burgers and brats, and also has a full-service bike bar where patrons can look for parts, get repairs done, or even purchase a bike. Ruby's also has pickleball and volleyball courts where they have hosted multiple events and leagues.

Here is the team's entire statement shared in a Facebook post

Hey everyone,

It’s with heavy hearts that we share some tough news. Unfortunately, Ruby’s last day of business will be November 29th.

Jil and Jess, our amazing bartenders who have been with us since day one, and I want to express our sincere gratitude to every single one of our incredible employees. You’ve made Ruby’s the special place it is.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have served this amazing community. Every laugh, every drink, and every memory made here has been special.

We invite you all to come say goodbye and make the most of these last few days. Let’s share laughs, create new memories, and celebrate the incredible times we’ve had together.

We’re so grateful for your support and love over the years.

With love, Ashley, Jil, Jess and all of Ruby’s Family
