Help the Rock Island Public Library plan its future with this survey

The Rock Island Public Library wants the public's help creating it's new strategic plan for 2025 to 2028.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — The Rock Island Public Library wants the public's help creating it's new strategic plan for 2025 to 2028.

The online community survey is open until April 1, 2024, and is available to anyone, including non-users of the library. Fill out the survey here. A paper copy of the survey is available at library locations.

“Whether you use the library a little, a lot, or not at all, your answers will help us better understand your needs, and those of the larger community. It takes just a few minutes to make a lasting impact,” said Lisa Lockheart, Rock Island Public Library publicity and outreach liaison.

You don't have to live in Rock Island to submit a survey. Rock Island Library events are open to the public.

Prior surveys have helped the library identify needs for fine-free borrowing, homebound delivery, after-hours book pickup and study rooms.
