DEWITT, Iowa — Scott County commuters may want to check their paths to work.

Beginning on Monday, April 8, 285th Avenue will be closed two miles south of DeWitt at the Wapsipinicon River overflow bridge. Officials said the closure will allow crews to complete a bridge replacement project.

Officials with the Scott County Secondary Roads Department said the closure could last up to 120 days.

A detour will be offered while work is ongoing. You can review that path below.
