ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — The Quad Cities region's premier fireworks show, Red, White and Boom!, takes place this Saturday, Sept. 7.
The event will kick off with family-friendly events in Davenport and Rock Island before the fireworks show. The Quad Cities River Bandits will also host a night baseball game at Modern Woodmen Park.
Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. and admission is free. For a full list of viewing areas, click here.
The annual bi-state fireworks show was originally scheduled for July 3 at LeClaire Park in Davenport and Schwiebert Park in Rock Island but was postponed due to flooding on the Mississippi River.
