ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — The perfect event for golf enthusiasts who happen to be animal lovers, or vice versa, is coming up during the Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center's Par Fore Pets Golf Outing.
The golf outing takes place at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island on Saturday, May 18. The cost is $300 per team with a four-person scramble format. The entry fee includes a round of golf, a cart, lunch, one non-alcoholic drink coupon, a swag bag and entry to three contests: the longest drive contest, longest putt contest and closest to the hole challenge.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
