PRESTON, Iowa — A person is dead following a fatal crash in Preston, Iowa.
According to a crash report from Iowa State Patrol, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was attempting to exit the parking lot of the Country Store Gas Station in Preston around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3. While trying to leave, the driver fatally struck a pedestrian in the lot.
The crash is still under investigation, and the names of the victim and driver haven't been released.
