Moline City Council approves pay raises for police officers

The changes also provide additional pay for officers working second and third shifts.

MOLINE, Ill. — Moline police officers will be getting a raise.

At their meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8, members of the Moline City Council voted to approve contract changes that include pay increases for police officers. Members of the Moline Police Department will receive a 4% wage increase in 2025, another 3.5% increase in 2026 and an additional 3.5% increase in 2027.

The changes also offer an extra 75 cents per hours for officers working second shift and an additional 85 cents per hour for third shift.

The vote to approve the new contract passed unanimously.
