DAVENPORT, Iowa — Police have identified a body found in the Mississippi River near Davenport as 24-year-old Olivia Harrison, who was previously reported missing.
Police said foul play is not suspected and that the incident remains under investigation. No other information was made available.
A death investigation was launched on Thursday, Oct. 24 after police found a female body in the river near LeClaire Park. Officials said they were not able to immediately identify the body as it had been in the river for some time. Following an autopsy, the Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office was able to identify the person as Harrison.
Harrison was reported missing back on Oct. 21. She had been missing since the evening of Oct. 16, according to police and family.
