LASALLE COUNTY, Ill — Update: Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, the LaSalle County Sheriff's Department announced that Kenneth Carothers was located.
The LaSalle County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing man.
According to Illinois State Police, 82-year-old Kenneth Carothers was last seen at 9 a.m. on June 18 in St. Louis driving a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with Illinois license plate number 3106YZB. Carothers is described as being a white man with white hair who is 5-foot-8 inches tall and weights approximately 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing a beige button-down shirt, jeans and cowboy boots. He is believed to have an eight-year-old black Australian Shepherd with him.
Illinois State Police said Carothers has a condition that puts him in danger.
