Shooting in Davenport Saturday night injures 2 men

An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old were found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds when police responded to a shooting around 9 on Saturday night.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Two men were injured during a Saturday night shooting in Davenport, police said. 

Just after 9 p.m. on Sept. 14, police responded to a parking lot downtown after learning about a shooting in the 1100 to 1200 blocks of Brady Street. Police said the shooting happened inside a car. 

An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Police said responding officers began helping the individuals before they were transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

The incident remains under investigation and police provided no other information.
