MOLINE, Ill. — A Moline road was closed Monday morning after police found a woman dead near Hamilton Elementary School.
According to police, authorities received a call about a woman lying along the side of the roadway in the 3400 block of 7th Street around 4:30 a.m. Responding authorities found a 45-year-old woman dead.
Police say the woman had been reported missing by family members on Sunday afternoon. The woman had a significant medical history that police say could be related to her death, but the cause of her death is not known at this time.
The police are investigating the death and believe there is no risk to the public.
