On the ninth consecutive day of testimony, Tim McVay’s former live-in girlfriend testified about her relationship with him, including the two incidents that led her to move out. A bartender who worked with McVay when he was a karaoke DJ also testified, and additional phone tracking evidence was also presented.
McVay faces a charge of first-degree murder in the disappearance and death of Carrie Olson of Davenport, Iowa. The eighth consecutive full day of his trial was set for Wednesday, June 24, 2015.
It’s a bench trial in Rock Island County Court with Judge Michael Meersman presiding.
