KNOX COUNTY, Ill. — Mental health organizations in Knox County have a new opportunity to get some additional funding for their projects and services.
On Monday, Jan. 29, the Knox County Mental Health Board announced that up to $2,039,000 are up for grabs for local organizations. The funds can be used to help provide mental health services, substance abuse services and developmental disabilities, according to a press release announcing the grants.
The funding cycle runs from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. Applications to receive a portion of the funding are due on Feb. 29. You can find the application materials on the Knox County website.
