LEE COUNTY, Ill. — One person is dead following a crash in Lee County.
According to officials with the Lee County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement received a call reporting a single-vehicle crash shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14. The crash reportedly took place on Tower Road, near the intersection of Green Wing Road in Sublette.
Upon arrival, deputies say they found a black GMC Terrain had gone off the road while traveling westbound. Authorities say the driver, 27-year-old Anthony W. Barna of Bridgeview, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
