MOLINE, Ill. — The newest McDonald's restaurant in Moline is set to open to the public on Thursday, Aug. 22
A ribbon-cutting was held on Tuesday, Aug. 20 to celebrate the new location with staff and local dignitaries.
The chain location is located just south of John Deere Road and east of 7th Street. It is on the outer fringe of the parking lot area of Kohl's and Target, near Fazoli's Italian restaurant.
The new location replaces the restaurant at 1800 36th Ave. in Moline, which closed on Sunday, Aug. 11.
Owner Troy Freyberger told News 8 crews that he is excited for the doors to open. Freyberger also said that all staff from the 16th Street restaurant were moved to work at the new location.
