Muscatine's Library Board of Trustees has an opening available to a resident

The board oversees the Musser Public Library & HNI Community Center.

MUSCATINE, Iowa — Muscatine's Library Board of Trustees, which oversees the Musser Public Library &  HNI Community Center, has an opening available to a resident of Muscatine. 

The board, made up of nine members, meets at 4:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month in the Musser Public Library & HNI Community Center. The board is in charge of the library director and their performance, approving library spending and sending the library budget to city council. 

Members serve six-year terms with a maximum of two full terms.

Any Muscatine residents interested in applying can fill out an application, found here, and email it to the administrative secretary Cinda Hilger at chilger@muscatineiowa.gov. 

A paper application can also be sent to Boards & Commissions, c/o Administrative Secretary, Muscatine City Hall, 215 Sycamore, Muscatine, IA 52761.
