MORRIS, Ill. — A Morris, Illinois woman took home a $3 million lottery prize after earning the top prize on a scratch-off ticket.
According to Illinois Lottery officials, the winner, who has requested to remain anonymous, purchased her winning ticket at a Circle K in Channahon.
The winner told officials she intends to use the money to “invest, remodel the house and travel—exactly in that order.”
The retailer will receive a bonus of $30,000 for selling the winning ticket.
