'Ctrl Salt Delete,' 'Ice Breaker' make Moline's top 10 list of snow plow names

Moline asked and its residents delivered — here are the plows that'll be keeping the streets clean and safe this winter.

MOLINE, Ill. — Editor's note: The video above is from Nov. 10 and is about Rock Island. 

It's finally time.

The City of Moline Public Works Department has named its top 10 snow plow names for the season, and on "frost" impressions, they're pretty good!  

This year's fleet is made up of 10 plows, and here they are:  

  • Ice Breaker
  • Fast and Flurryous
  • Plower Ranger
  • Darth Blader
  • Buzz Iceclear
  • Ctrl Salt Delete
  • Lightning McClean
  • Big Le-Plow-Ski
  • Blizzard of Oz
  • Plow-cado on 5th
