MOLINE, Ill. — Five people were displaced following a fire in Moline on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials with the Moline Fire Department said they responded to a fire at 242 46th St. shortly after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Upon arrival, they found a two-story building with visible fire rising from it. Crews were able to extinguish the blaze within approximately 20 minutes of arrival.
No one was injured in the fire, but five people who lived in the building have been displaced in the aftermath.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
