MOLINE, Ill. — A suspect is in custody after a fire at a Moline apartment building was deemed intentional, according to officials

Just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, the Moline Fire Department responded to the Moline Enterprise Lofts at 1871 River Dr. due to a fire alarm being activated. Upon arrival, firefighters saw the alarm and sprinkler system had been activated. The fire had already been extinguished by the sprinklers when first responders got to the scene, according to a press release.

Firefighters searched the 69-unit apartment building to ensure everybody was accounted for, with officials reporting there were no injuries.
