Mississippi Valley Fair announces Jordan Davis as grandstand act, tickets on sale Saturday

On Friday, the Mississippi Valley Fair announced one of the three remaining grandstand acts for 2023. Country music star Jordan Davis will perform on Aug 2.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — On Friday, the Mississippi Valley Fair announced one of the three remaining grandstand acts for the fair's 2023 rendition, the fair announced via their Facebook page.

Country music star Jordan Davis will perform at the fair on Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Limp Bizkit, Sam Hunt, HARDY and Jimmie Allen were previously announced as grandstand performances. There are still two acts that will be announced at a later date. 

Here's the full schedule:

  • Monday, July 31: Pre-fair concert w/ Jimmie Allen
  • Tuesday, Aug. 1: Sam Hunt
  • Wednesday, Aug. 2: Jordan Davis
  • Thursday, Aug. 3: TBA
  • Friday, Aug. 4: TBA
  • Saturday, Aug. 5:  Limp Bizkit
  • Sunday, Aug. 6:  HARDY

The fair said in their Facebook post: 

"'Take It From Me' the 'Next Thing You Know' people will have to 'Slow Dance In A Parking Lot' all night long as we proudly welcome Jordan Davis to the 2023 Mississippi Valley Fair Grandstand line-up on Wednesday August 2nd, 2023! Make sure you get your fair Funcards early as they will 'Almost Maybes' certainly sell out and you will be forced to 'Buy Dirt' that night because you didn't get your tickets." 

Funcards on sale Saturday

Fair Funcards will on on sale this Saturday at 8 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the fairground's Keppy Hall, located at Keppy 4-H Hall, Grandstand Way, Davenport.

The admission pass gives patrons access to all seven grandstand events throughout the week-long event.
