DIXON, Illinois — Update: As of 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday night, Dixon police have announced that Lia Balloti has been located.
The Dixon Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman.
Lia Balloti was reported missing on June 12 by her family, according to a Facebook post. She has a history of mental illness but police say she is not considered a danger to herself or others.
Police provided a photo, which shows Balloti with a shaved head and eyebrows. News 8 has reached out to Dixon police for more details and is waiting to hear back.
