Dixon police locate missing teen

Dixon police thanked the community for their assistance in finding Jadin Casas on Tuesday.

Jadin Casas, 13, has been missing since Oct. 29.

DIXON, Ill. — Update: The missing teen has been located, according to Dixon police. The department thanked the community for its help in a short release Tuesday afternoon. 

Previous story: Dixon police are asking the public for help in finding a missing 13-year-old, the department announced Tuesday. 

Jadin Casas, 13, was last seen on Saturday in the 600 block of Marclare Street. Jadin was last seen wearing a burgundy fuzzy jacket with black pants, black shoes and black glasses.

Jadin is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes. 

Those with any information regarding Jadin's whereabouts are asked to call the Dixon Police Department at 815-288-4411.
