Moline police have released new information as they continue to search for a missing child.
13-year-old Kyrese Rogers was last seen Tuesday, April 30 around 2 p.m. in the 5000 block of 48th Street in Moline. Police believe Kyrese is with his mother, 34-year-old Lacinda Granado-Overton, in the Peoria area.
Granado-Overton does not have custody of Kyrese. Police say an order of protection prohibiting her from having contact with Kyrese has been in place since before his disappearance. Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Granado-Overton and she has been charged with two counts of violation of order of protection, according to a press release.
Kyrese is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500, use the P3 Tips app or contact the Moline Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (309) 797-0401.
The Moline Police Department is working with the Peoria Police Department to locate Kyrese and apprehend Granado-Overton.
