Galesburg 66-year-old found after missing person search

Illinois State Police announced that 66-year-old Phillip Allison was located shortly before 7 p.m.

GALESBURG, Ill. — Update: Shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday, June 3, Illinois State Police announced that Phillip Allison has been located. No information on his condition was provided.

olice are asking for the public's help in locating 66-year-old Phillip Allison, who was last seen in the Galesburg area. 

According to an Endangered Missing Person Advisory from the Illinois State Police, Allison is a six-foot-tall white male and weighs 228 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes and was last seen driving southbound on Knox County Highway 78 at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. He was wearing glasses, a green and gray Army t-shirt and gray pants. 

Officials say he was driving a black 2020 Chrysler Voyager van with Illinois license plates that read "TAZZ57." The missing person's advisory says Allision has a condition that places him in danger.
