FORT CARSON, Co. — Daniel Oglesby was returning home from an eight-month deployment, and his little girl just couldn’t wait any longer to see him.
The adorable moment was captured as the soldiers waited before they could greet their families.
But when Karas spotted her dad, nothing was stopping her.
“She was excited. She spotted me from a couple rows back and she couldn’t contain herself,” Oglesby told KKTV. “I wasn’t gonna tell her no.”
Oglesby said it is difficult to be away, but it’s all worth it.
“Being gone for eight months–it’s tough. But once you see the look on their faces when you get back makes it worth it.”
