DAVENPORT, Iowa — Leap Day 2024 was an exciting day over at Genesis Health System, where several leap day babies were introduced to the world.
At last check on Thursday, Feb. 29, six babies had been born on the unique date of Feb. 29. The health system said that six babies is a higher number than its average leap day.
Those six babies share the rarest birthdate in the world, with only about five million out of the eight billion people on earth having been born on Feb. 29.
