DAVENPORT, Iowa — A large fire erupted in the west side of Davenport Wednesday at Midwest Recyclers, with smoke visible as far away as Geneseo.
A News 8 camera atop the Kahl Building in Davenport captured firefighters working to extinguish the fire. The fire was visible for miles, with the News 8's Bridgepointe camera atop the Kone Building also capturing the blaze. News 8's Andrew Stutzke could even see the fire from Geneseo!
Midwest Recyclers is located at 530 S Howell Street, near Nestle Purina Davenport.
