After five playoff holes, Jordan Spieth won the 2013 John Deere Classic Championship.
Round four ended in a three-way tie between Spieth, Zach Johnson, and David Hearn. After four playoff holes where all contenders made par, Spieth pulled-away on the 18th hole.
The three that were tied ended the tournament at 19-under par. Spieth shot eight birdies and two bogeys in his last round of the weekend.
He is the first teenager to win on the PGA Tour since Ralph Guldahl took the Santa Monica Open in 1931.
The John Deere Classic is Spieth's first career win.
