IOWA CITY, Iowa — Update: A GoFundMe has been created for the family of 38-year-old Christopher "Chris" Plowman of Tiffin, according to officials with the fundraising platform.
Plowman died while working at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City, according to the GoFundMe. As of 10 p.m. on Thursday, $22,182 of the fundraiser's $25,000 goal has been donated. You can find the fundraiser here.

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved friend, Chris Plowman, tragically passed away in a work-related accident. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jessica, and their three beautiful children: Adi, Lanie, and Hudson.
Chris was a devoted husband and an amazing father who always put his family first. His laughter filled every room he entered, and his kindness touched everyone he met. He worked tirelessly to provide for Jessica and their children, often going above and beyond to ensure they had everything they needed.
On August 14th, while working at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course, Chris suffered an unexpected accident that led to his untimely passing. This devastating loss has left Jessica and their children in shock as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.
On top of unexpected funeral costs, Jessica will face everyday living expenses for herself and their three young children who depend on her during this difficult time.

A Johnson County man is dead after drowning at an Iowa City golf course on Wednesday, Aug. 14, according to a news release.
Officials responded to the Pleasant Valley Golf Course around 1:30 p.m. after a caller reported a drowning at one of the course's ponds. First responders said they found the victim fully submerged in the pond and trapped under maintenance equipment.
The victim, who has been identified as 38-year-old Christopher Plowman of Tiffin, was recovered from the pond and declared deceased at the scene.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
