SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa — Residents just off of 100th Avenue in rural Scott County can expect to see some road closures beginning this week.

Public works crews will be out installing a new water main connection in this area. Construction is expected to last for six weeks on the northbound side of 100th Avenue between 130th Street and Chapel Hill Road.

Drivers can still use the southbound portion of 100th Avenue during the installation, however, they should use caution while construction continues.
