ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Transportation began working on the I-80 bridge over the Rock River on Monday, July 22.
According to IDOT officials, crews are patching the bridge deck. While work is ongoing, one eastbound lane will be closed.
The project is expected to be finished by 3 p.m. on Friday, July 26.
