DAVENPORT, Iowa — Heads up for drivers this weekend; the entrance to I-74 off Kimberly Road and Spruce Hills Drive will be closed.
The closure begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 and is expected to run through 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. During this time, Iowa DOT crews will be working on repairs to the Duck Creek and Middle Road bridges. Additionally, eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane on the highway from 53rd Street to Lincoln Road.
Throughout the closure, a detour on eastbound Kimberly Road and eastbound Middle Road can be used to get onto I-74. You can find the detour on the map below:
