One victim was found deceased in their home in the area, according to a press release. Officials say the person died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Minutes later, police learned another victim was transported to a local hospital by an unknown person. They were then transferred to OSF St. Francis for treatment. Police did not provide information on their condition.
