BETTENDORF, Iowa — For the 18th-straight year, the Genesis Remembrance Tree ceremony returned to honor more than 7,000 people in the past three decades.
Family, friends, and staff gathered for readings, music and reflection at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf on Monday.
The annual lighting has taken place every year since 2004, raising more than $100k for hospice care services aimed at providing patients and their families with comfort.
