DAVENPORT, Iowa — Genesis Health System and UnitedHealthcare have reached a new agreement to continue providing United customers with in-network access to medical services.
Genesis officials announced the new deal on Friday, June 28. The new arrangement will last for three years.
“This agreement was necessary to ensure Genesis can continue delivering the high-quality, affordable care people need," Jordan Voigt, President of Genesis Medical Center in Davenport said. "With fair reimbursement, we can continue to invest in our colleagues, medical staff, innovative treatments and important health programs, protecting access to care now and in the future.”
United patients should contact the insurer directly at the phone number on the back of their insurance card for questions about benefits and coverage.
