Galesburg police searching for suspects in Dairy Queen robbery

GALESBURG, Ill. — Galesburg police are searching for two suspects following a robbery.

According to police, around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, officers responded to a robbery at the Dairy Queen located at 1048 Grand Ave. Two men wearing masks and gloves had allegedly entered the restaurant before putting a bag on the counter. An employee saw the barrel of a gun in the bag, and the suspects allegedly demanded money from the register. Once they received it, the suspects left the scene.
