DIXON, Illinois- Galena Avenue Bridge was closed after a semi accident left the 18-wheeler on its side blocking the road.
Dixon Police said the Galena Avenue Bridge has been closed after a semi-truck rolled over with the trailer attached.
Several hours later, crews were able to overturn the truck and tanker, according to a post on the Dixon Police Department’s Facebook page. They estimated that 25 gallons of fuel leaked from the trailer.
Drivers were asked to find different routes as crews cleaned up the area; bridge drivers had to use the Peoria Avenue Bridge.
