DAVENPORT, Iowa — With sunnier temperatures forecasted for the next week, now is the time to get to planting your favorite annuals, perennials or tropicals!
Friends of Vander Veer extended their annual sale by one day. The initial sale was last weekend, but the extra day will be on Friday, May 5 at the Vander Veer Conservatory in Davenport.
Friday's sale starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Proceeds from the sale will support Friends of Vander Veer in their mission to "fund beauty and education at Vander Veer Botanical Park."
Featured plants include impatiens, upright fuchsias, spider plants and ornamental grasses, such as wire vine, switch grass and sandlove.
