MUSCATINE, Iowa — A fire at a Muscatine senior living facility hospitalized one resident on Tuesday, July 16.
Muscatine firefighters responded to a fire at the Grandview Senior Lofts around 11 a.m. Firefighters located a fire on the third floor with heavy smoke. Officials successfully extinguished the fire shortly after arriving at the scene.
A resident was transported to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
