SHERRARD, Ill. — Several fire departments responded to a house fire in Sherrard on Wednesday, Oct. 9, using water from Fyre Lake to extinguish the flames.
The fire destroyed the home, leaving just the lower level of the home standing.
There has been no official word on whether anyone was injured in the blaze, nor has the cause of the fire been determined.
