‘Field of Dreams’ house available for overnight rentals

Renting the old family farmhouse for a night costs on average $600-700 a night.

The farmhouse featured in the baseball classic movie "Field of Dreams" is available to book for overnight stays.

The Dyersville, Iowa home first opened to the public in early March 2018.

The website boasts that guests can "spend the night in the meticulously maintained three-bedroom farmhouse and enjoy the 'Kinsella Experience.' Guests will be greeted personally by the Movie Site staff and will receive a complimentary gift basket."

The house is available yearly from March through December. The home sleeps seven guests comfortably as it has one king-size bed, two queen-size beds, and a day bed.

A single-person stay starts at $600 for a weeknight, then $700 for a weekend night.

The 1989 classic movie 'Field of Dreams' was filmed on location in Dyersville. The film featured actors such as Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones, and Ray Liotta. The film was nominated for 14 Oscars and won 8.

IMBD's Scott Renshaw summarizes the movie:

Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella hears a voice in his cornfield tell him, "If you build it, he will come." He interprets it as an instruction to build a baseball field on his farm, upon which appear the ghosts of Shoeless Joe Jackson and the other seven Chicago White Sox players banned from the game for throwing the 1919 World Series. When the voices continue, Ray seeks out a reclusive author to help him understand the meaning of the messages and the purpose for his field.
