DAVENPORT, Iowa — From pumpkin patches to corn mazes to spooky Halloween fun, fall is a great time to get out and enjoy activities around the Quad Cities area!

Pride of the Wapsi

  • When: Thursdays through Saturdays, Sept. 21-Nov. 3, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: 14600 305th St, Long Grove, IA
  • What: Pumpkin patch, corn maze

Shady Knoll Farm

  • When: Tuesdays-Fridays 12-6 p.m., Saturdays-Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (as of Sept. 23)
  • Where: 3115 Dennhardt Rd, East Moline, IL
  • What: Flower field, pumpkin patch, corn maze, goats

Corn Crib's CribFest

  • When: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays through Oct. 27, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Where: 6924 US Route 150, Coal Valley, IL
  • What: Pumpkins, hay rides, zip-lines, giant bounce pillow, food and drink, petting zoo

Tanners Orchard 

  • When: August-October, 2024
  • Where: Tanners, 740 IL-40, Speer, IL 61479
  • What: U-Pick apple orchard, barrel train rides, pony rides, corn maze

Greater Quad Cities Renaissance Faire

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29
  • Where: Credit Island Park, Davenport
  • What: Stages of live entertainment, unique merchandise, food and drinks

Wallace's Garden Center Pumpkin Palooza

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Wallace's, 2605 Devils Glen Rd, Bettendorf
  • What: Games, train rides, free popcorn, giant slide, corn box, caramel apples

Bishop Hill Jordbruksdagarna (Ag Days)

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: 103 North Bishop Hill Street, Bishop Hill, IL
  • What: Traditional craft demonstrations, food, vendors, hands-on children's activities, musical performances, petting zoo, antique tractor parade

Rock Falls Lumberjack Show

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 5 with 9 a.m. start; shows at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
  • Where: Selmi's Greenhouse, 1238 Dixon Ave., Rock Falls, IL
  • What: 3 lumberjack shows, interactive kid's lumberjack camp at 1:30 p.m., beard contest at 2 p.m., live woodcarving demonstrations at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 4 p.m., kid's haunted house, hayrack rides

Oktoberfest at Hauberg Estate

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 12 from 12-9 p.m.
  • Where: Hauberg Estate, 1300 24th St., Rock Island, IL
  • What: Music, food, barrel rolling contest, stein holding, log sawing, Hammerschlagen, kids games

Back from the Dead

  • When: Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13
  • Where: Multiple locations around downtown Rock Island, IL
  • What: Free trolley rides (4-10 p.m. Saturday, 12-10 p.m. Sunday), shops and vendors, tarot card readings, live lucha libre wrestling, art exhibitions, theater and comedy shows, haunted house, history tours. Click here for a full schedule.

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown LeClaire, 106 N Cody Rd, LeClaire, Iowa
  • What: Vendor market

Not So Scary Halloween Walk

  • When: Friday, Oct. 25-Sunday, Oct. 27
  • Where: QC Botanical Center, 2525 4th Ave, Rock Island, IL
  • What: Walk through lighted gardens after dark in costume, treat stops, Halloween crafts, Saturday concerts at 6 and 7 p.m.

Freight House Farmers Market Fall Harvest Festival

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3
  • Where: Freight House Farmers Market, 421 W River Dr, Davenport, IA
  • What: Local vendors, fresh fall produce, food trucks, live music from Common Chord partners
