MOLINE, Ill. — The weekend is officially here, and WQAD and WLLR have your top events to check out for July 7-9.
Good Morning Quad Cities' David Bohlman and Devin Brooks were joined by WLLR's Dani Howe Thursday morning to go over the must-see events.
Here's your rundown:
An iconic holiday tale (and movie) comes to life on stage at Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse this winter.
The cast, led by Bettendorf 5th grader Ben Pisel, brings you into the world of 9-year-old Ralphie who will plot and scheme and stop at nothing to procure a coveted BB gun for Christmas.
Performances of A Christmas Story The Musical last until Dec. 30, with showtimes on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. More information on times can be found here and ticket reservations can be made by contacting the Circa '21 box office at (309) 786-7733 ex. 2.
The Putnam Museum and Science Center is bringing back its Polar Express Pajama Party. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas to watch the holiday classic, The Polar Express 3D, on the Giant Screen. There are multiple screenings from Thursday, Dec. 14 to Sunday, Dec. 17.
In addition to the movie, there will be activities such as face painting, a hot chocolate bar, a make-and-take sleigh bell station and a lights-out adventure through the museum.
