Here is where you can find Easter egg hunts in the Quad Cities

With Easter coming up, there a few options to go on an Egg Hunt with your family around the area.
DOWNTOWN EGG HUNT

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Easter is almost here! And cities are preparing for the big day on Sunday, March 31.

As the holiday approaches, here's a list of Easter egg hunts in the region that you and your family can enjoy!

Davenport 

Gilda's Club Family Easter Egg Hunt

  • The hunt will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Gilda's Club Quad Cities Davenport Clubhouse. 
  • The event will have a craft for all ages, games and a group of therapy dogs! 
  • The event is free of cost. But registration is required and spots are limited. Everyone in your family is welcome.

Doggie Egg Hunt at Centennial Park

  • The Annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt returns to Centennial Park in Davenport on March 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Attendees can take a picture with the Easter Bunny, hunt for treats with your dog, receive a free pet microchip and visit vendors. 


Moline

Park Egg Hunt

  • An egg hunt will take place at the Greenvalley Softball Complex on Saturday, March 23 beginning at 11:30 a.m. for ages 3 and under, and at noon for ages 4 to 9.  
  • Age groups are limited to 150 kids for ages 3 and under starting first, and to 200 kids ages 4 to 9 starting second. 
  • The event is FREE but registration is required and closes on March 18 at 3:30 p.m. 

At Home Egg Hunt

  • Moline Parks and Recreation staff will deliver and hide eggs around your front yard! 20 candy-filled eggs will be available for all the registered children. You can register by calling 309-524-2424 or visiting their website.
  • Open to Moline, Coal Valley and East Moline residents.
  • Deliveries will be on Monday, March 25, and Thursday, March 28. 
  • Delivery time: 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. regardless of the weather.
  • $12 per child. Registration closes on March 19 at 3:30 p.m. 

Pooch Pics with the Bunny

  • This event is for our furry friends! Get your buddy a picture with the Easter Bunny on Wednesday, March 20, at the Moline Garden Center. 
  • Participants will receive a dog goodie bag and a picture sent via email.
  • Pre-registration is required with a cost of only $8 and closes on March 14 at 3:30 p.m.
  • Time slots will be offered every half hour from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

East Moline

Second Annual East Egg Hunt

  • The City of East Moline and Respect Abilities are partnering for their second annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 23 at the Jacobs Park Sports Complex.
  • The first hunt kicks off at 1:00 p.m., and a new group will go every 15 minutes.
  • Age groups: Children under three years old, pre-k to kindergarteners, first and second graders, and third through sixth graders.

Muscatine

Muscatine Easter Egg Hunt

  • The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to the 2024 Easter Egg Hunt that will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at Weed Park in Muscatine.
  • Children will be split into age groups to hunt for colored eggs in specific locations: three years and under, four years through kindergarten, and first through third graders.
  • Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter basket. Eggs will be traded in for goodie bags to take home.

Galesburg

Galesburg Community Easter Egg Hunt

  • The City of Galesburg Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Recreation Facility.
  • The event is a free family-friendly afternoon with egg hunts divided up by age group.  
  • There will be 10,000 candy filled eggs, a series of grand prizes, including Lakeside Water Park family memberships, and the Easter Bunny on site for photographs.

DeWitt

First Central State Bank Community Easter Egg Hunt

  • First Central State Bank and Motion Raceworks are partnering to host the annual community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 23, at the Central DeWitt Community MS/HS outdoor sports complex at 1 p.m.
  • Pictures with the Easter Bunny and First Central's mascot Packy Panda will start at 12:30 p.m.
  • Candy, snacks and drinks will be offered at the hunt and each age group will have a "Golden Ticket" hidden in their hunt area. The one who finds the ticket will be able to be redeemed for a larger prize at the end of the day. 
  • Age groups: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-9.

Village of Carbon Cliff

Easter Egg Hunt

  • Carbon Cliff will host an egg hunt in the Carbon Cliff park on Saturday, March 23, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
  • There will be 3,000 eggs and two surprise eggs per age group.
  • Age groups include 0-3, 4-7, 8-11 and 12-15.
