EAST MOLINE, Ill. — A Tuesday afternoon shooting left one man wounded and a juvenile injured, according to an East Moline Police Department news release.
At 4:12 p.m., East Moline police responded to a residence in the 300 block of 22nd Ave. Ct. for a domestic disturbance. While en route, officers learned that gunshots had rung out.
Upon arrival, officers located 43-year-old Adam R. White of East Moline and a 15-year-old juvenile.
Both individuals were treated at area hospitals for injuries suffered during the incident and later released.
White was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his abdomen. The 15-year-old was treated for blunt-force trauma to the head.
Back at the scene, officers located a firearm and two used shell casings.
As a result of the investigation, White has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery, aggravated unlawful restraint, reckless discharge of a firearm, endangering the life or health of a child, and two counts of domestic battery.
White resides in the Rock Island County Jail on a bond of $50,000.
