A teenage girl was reportedly abducted by three people out of Winfield, Iowa in Henry County.
The abduction of 16-year-old Karyn Renee Mehaffy was reported shortly before 8 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, according to the Henry County Sheriff's Office. It happened in the 300 block of South Olive St., reports indicated.
Henry County Police say it was reported that Karyn was abducted by three people in a dark blue SUV.
Officers say Karyn is described as being 5-feet, 3-inches tall, heavy set, has dyed blonde hair with blue/green bangs, is tan and has blue eyes. She was last seen wearing green skinny jeans and a black sleeveless t-shirt.
According to Henry County Sheriff's Office, she may be with Wilfredo Martinez Gonzalez.
The sheriff's office Facebook page included a post indicating they attempted to get an Amber Alert declared for the case, but it did not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert.
