The Hobby Lobby store in Moline has received an overwhelming amount of job applications.
Over 1,000 applications were submitted for 80 jobs at the current under-construction retail store.
From Monday, July 22, 2013 through Friday, July 26, the store took applications at an off-site location, Stoney Creek Inn.
The store is taking the place of the former Menards store near John Deere Road and 7th Street. Hobby Lobby is scheduled to open its Moline location on August 16, 2013.
