MONMOUTH, Illinois- The Monmouth police department added a new member and Monmouth native during their October 7, city council meeting.
The city says the new officer, Austin J. Cox, has 10 years of experience in law enforcement and is a lateral transfer from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
“Cox is a Monmouth native and will be a valuable asset to the department.”
