DAVENPORT, Iowa — More than 1,100 Davenport residents are without power as of 9:50 p.m., according to MidAmerican’s Outage Map.
WQAD viewers have reported that power lines fell near Eastern Avenue in Davenport, but the cause has not yet been confirmed with MidAmerican.
The outage map also reports more than 600 customers in Rock Island County and 70 in Moline are without power.
Please stay away from powerlines and be more careful than usual out on roadways.
Parts of Scott and Clinton counties in Iowa had a tornado warning earlier this evening that expired at 9:30 p.m. The entire Quad Cities and WQAD viewing area was under a severe thunderstorm warning until 9:45 p.m. with winds reaching between 60-70 miles per hour.
Those same areas are still under a severe thunderstorm watch until midnight.
